Our Votes Count!
In the immortal words of US House Speaker Tip O’Neil, “All politics are local.”
Every Election is Important!
In Tennessee, we vote three times in 2022. We voted in the May municipal primary and now August 4 is the next stage.
Since early voting for the August 4 election started last week on July 15, Tellico Villlage’s turnout in District 1 & 7, for example, have individually exceeded each of Loudon County’s other districts. Keep up the GREAT work!
In March of 2022, a candidate for Loudon County government told the POA’s Government Affairs Committee, privately, that, “by and large, Tellico Village residents don’t vote in County elections. Therefore, office holders often disregard the Village’s needs.”
OUR VOTES COUNT! Please make the time to learn about the candidates, Early Voting and August 4 voting locations and VOTE. If we want our elected representatives to truly hear what we have to say, EVERY Village and Kahite vote counts!
