Line Cook at Toqua Bar & Grill

Job description

We are seeking a skilled Line Cook to join our team at Toqua Grill. As a Line Cook, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking meals according to our restaurant’s recipes and guidelines. Your role is crucial in ensuring that our customers receive high-quality dishes that meet their expectations.

 

Responsibilities:
– Cook menu items in cooperation with the rest of the kitchen staff
– Follow recipes and presentation specifications to ensure consistency and quality
– Ensure that all food is prepared and served in a timely manner
– Monitor food stock levels and notify the kitchen manager of any shortages
– Maintain a clean and sanitary work area at all times
– Adhere to all food safety regulations and guidelines
– Assist with cleaning and organizing the kitchen and equipment as needed

 

Skills:
– Previous experience in food service or as a dietary aide is mandatory
– Knowledge of culinary techniques and food preparation methods
– Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment
– Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
– Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
– Familiarity with food handling procedures and food safety regulations
– Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
