| TANASI FIRE UPDATE
We would like to thank the community for taking the time to participate in our recent survey. We had 861 people fill out the survey and make recommendations. The Tanasi Restoration Committee met on October 5th to review the four options.
The team agreed we should Build to the Future. The first two options were voted down. Currently, the team will be focusing on option 3 and 4 and will continue to flush out the pros and cons of each.
Do nothing and bank the money. Build back what was there previously. - Build back with all the same amenities (only bigger).
- Separate the two amenities between restaurant/meeting rooms and golf (which would go to the other location).
For both options, Director of Golf, Chris Sykes and Golf Pro Casey Flenniken will study the square footage needed for a new building(s) and the Food Service operator Andy Fox will do the same for the seating capacity in the restaurant. This will help determine the parking spots needed for both option 3 and 4.
In the coming weeks we will be working towards developing site plans for both options. We will keep you up to date of any new developments. |
