We have until noon ET on Tuesday, August 17th to provide our comments about the Asian Carp barriers to the TVA Board of Directors. Their live-streamed meeting is August 18th at 10 a.m. ET.
The senior staff at TVA will soon be making their final decision as to which locks will receive fish barriers and what the barrier priority will be. Their environmental group is currently compiling the feedback from the several hundred letters and emails they received about their draft Programmatic Environmental Assessment. The TVA Board will not have seen that feedback. This is our chance to communicate directly to the Board members before their meeting on the 18th.
The TVA Board of Directors welcomes your written comments ahead of their regular quarterly business meeting to be held beginning at 10 a.m. ET on Wednesday, August 18th.
Please submit your written comments about the Asian Carp barriers to: https://tvaforms.wufoo.com/forms/rwn4v4a1xk0uoo/ before 12pm EDT on Tuesday, August 17th. All comments will be reviewed by the Board members prior to their meeting.
The Board’s August 18th meeting will again be held in a virtual setting. The meeting will be streamed live on the Internet beginning a few minutes prior to its 10 a.m. ET start time.
