The ground is officially broken! On the morning of February 13th, we held ceremonies to celebrate the beginning of construction on our new Toqua clubhouse and Kahite community center. The rain and clouds were replaced by sunshine, and we are thrilled to report a fantastic turnout; hundreds of Villagers arrived eager to commemorate this special, long-awaited occasion.

You can‘t always get what you want
But if you try sometimes you might find
You get what you need
-Rolling Stones

This was the mantra POA Board President Bruce Johnson repeated during his ceremonious speeches at both Toqua and Kahite. We have wanted a new clubhouse for 12 years, and we‘ve wanted to replace the temporary Kahite annex with a permanent facility for nearly 10 years. After a decade, we finally proved that we not only wanted these facilities, but we needed them in order to keep pace with the remarkable growth we‘ve experienced. We are committed to ensuring Tellico Village continues on a path of growth and progression while remaining the vibrant, beautiful home we all love and enjoy.

On behalf of the Board of Directors and the Tellico Village Property Owners‘ Association, thank you to everyone who has played a role in making these projects possible. The countless hours, dedicated effort, and unwavering support you‘ve given over the years kept these projects moving forward. We‘re excited to announce the Kahite community center is expected to be completed on July 26th, and the expected completion date for the Toqua clubhouse is November 25th.
